Project Humulus Lupulus is a rotating series of hop-centric beers which pushes the boundaries of brewing creativity.
These beers allow our brewers to get innovative and crazy, all while creating a dance party on your taste buds.
Although the recipes will change, one constant will remain; pure hop tastiness.

Xertz by its very definition was constructed to quaff quickly. An extremely delicious yet not over- bearing IPA, Xertz is packed with citrusy hop flavor from Amarillo, Mosaic, Citra, Galaxy and Simcoe hops without any harsh bitterness. A balanced malt bill adds additional flavor while keeping the boatload of hops on an even keel.

Dig the dank.  Savor the stank. Leafy Greens presents an increase by orders of magnitude in dankness. The aroma of certain hops, particularly CTZ, has long been described as similar to marijuana. Scientific examination has indeed proven that Humulus Lupulus and Cannabis Sativa are relatives, both members of the Cannabinaceae family. Ponder these branches of the family tree while enjoying this mellow IPA with friends, music, solid visuals and readily available munchies.

What’s in a hop? Sure, Lupulin glands, Bracteoles, Strigs, alpha and beta acid, polyphenols, but what does it all mean? Aroma.  Flavor. Awesomeness.  Just this side of an IPA and teetering on the edge of Pale Ale, Hop Anatomy combines Citra and other hops with a nice dose of specialty malt for a complete and well-rounded flavor profile.

This hoppy lager stretches traditional style boundaries, resulting in greatness. Crisp, clean and refreshing like a German lager should be. But wait…hello, hops.  Nice to smell ya. Not enough hops to unhinge balance, but just enough hop aroma and flavor to make this Helles extra awesome.
